ABOUT THIS PAINTING
There’s a point in my creating where thought gives way to instinct, where my brush moves before I can name what I’m feeling. Unfiltered came from that place.
It’s a conversation between my emotions and colour, a kind of visual journaling that doesn’t need to be tidy or make perfect sense. There’s no fear here, only trust. Trust in the mess, the movement, the layering that mirrors how I process life itself.
I’ve always believed art is the connective tissue between us. Even when it’s abstract, it finds language in emotion, and that shared spark of feeling is where we meet. Creating this piece reminded me that art doesn’t ask for perfection. It asks for honesty.
